It’s easy to charge your electric car in Kerbeleg

It’s easy to recharge your electric car at Kerbeleg

In a world undergoing an energy transition, more and more people are travelling by electric vehicle. With this in mind, we’re pleased to announce a practical new feature at the Kerbeleg guest house: an external slow-charging socket, accessible to all our residents with an electric car. This installation has been designed to combine comfort, autonomy and simplicity, while respecting fairness thanks to an individual metering system that allows you to pay only for your actual consumption.

Easy recharging at night

The plug is located outside the manor house, right next to the house. It operates on a slow-charging basis via a standard 230V domestic socket, perfectly suited to night-time charging. This means that when you plug in your vehicle in the evening after a day’s sightseeing or hiking, you’ll find your battery ready to take on the next day’s programme, without having to look for a public charging point or leave the premises.

Charging is autonomous: you plug in your cable, the car charges overnight, and you’re free to manage your schedule without constraints. The socket is, of course, secure and protected from the elements, so it can be used reliably in all seasons.

Actual payment, thanks to a dedicated meter

For the sake of transparency and fairness, the socket is activated on demand and fitted with an individual meter that accurately records the amount of electricity used during your charge. You only pay for your actual consumption, calculated in kWh at the current rate. So it’s not an approximate flat rate or a service built into the room price, but a fair, simple and measurable system.

Before you leave, we’ll give you a clear statement of your electricity consumption for recharging your vehicle. No subscription, no hidden costs, and above all: no surprises.

A practical response to a modern need

With the explosion in the number of hybrid and 100% electric cars, it’s becoming essential for tourist accommodation to adapt. All too often, travellers have to plan their itinerary according to the terminals available on the road, sometimes forcing them to make forced stops or take unpleasant detours. At Kerbeleg, we have chosen to make life easier for our guests, while remaining true to the spirit of the house: a personalised welcome, attention to detail, and a constant desire to meet today’s expectations, without ever sacrificing the authenticity of the place.

Our pick-up service is a complementary but essential service for anyone who wants to travel around Brittany on their own, without stress or logistical constraints.

A simple, user-friendly service on request

Access to the charging point is available on request when you make your reservation or before your arrival (only one charging point available at the moment). No special equipment is required, apart from your own charging cable suitable for domestic sockets (type E/F – European standard). It’s easy to plug in, and you’re free to use it as you wish, while respecting the electrical capacity and comfort of the other residents.

In the evening, while you enjoy the peace and quiet of the garden, the charm of the manor house or a good book in your room, your car will also be rejuvenated.

Come to Kerbeleg with peace of mind

Travelling by electric car should never be a constraint. At Kerbeleg, we’re committed to combining modernity and tradition. Thanks to our night-time charging point with individual metering, you can come and stay with us in complete confidence, enjoy the region without compromise, and leave recharged… both you and your vehicle.

Book your stay now and simply let us know if you’d like to use the electric socket for your car. We’ll take care of the rest.
