Description : Mangetout beans are climbing varieties that produce tender, tasty pods. They require a support to climb and can reach heights of 2 to 3 metres. Ideal for gardeners wanting to maximise the use of vertical space.

Sowing: in the ground, in pots

Sowing advice:

  • Direct sowing in the ground: After the last frosts, sow 1 seed every 10 cm, in rows 70 cm apart or in bunches of 4-5 seeds every 40 cm.
  • Sowing in pots: Sow under cover in April for transplanting in May, 10 cm apart in rows 70 cm apart.
