Meals at Kerbeleg: tradition, sharing and the good life
Every morning at Kerbeleg begins in the pure tradition of a bed and breakfast: with a home-cooked breakfast, prepared with care and served in the dining room. Jams from the orchard, cakes of the day, local honey, homemade bread and seasonal produce make up this morning interlude. It’s a time for sharing and conviviality, true to the spirit of the house: simple, generous and sincere.
Kerbeleg is not a gîte, so it is not possible to cook or have meals here other than breakfast. This choice respects the balance of the place and the authenticity of the house. In summer, however, you can sit outside under the trees or on the large table, if available, to enjoy a picnic or a light meal brought in from outside. The garden, which is vast and peaceful, then becomes a country-style table, open to the light of day.
We simply ask that the food is not eaten in the bedrooms. This rule protects the old woodwork, the natural fabrics and the quality of the air, while maintaining a clean and harmonious environment for everyone. Hygiene is our priority.
For your lunch or dinner, we have a list of carefully selected restaurants. From local bistros to gourmet restaurants, from crêperies to world cuisine, within a two- to twenty-minute drive you’ll find something to prolong the pleasure of Breton flavours, in the same spirit of authenticity and conviviality that inspires Kerbeleg.
