A delicious winter recipe from Tante Nana…
Ingredients
PIE :
- 1 shortcrust pastry
- 1 savoy cabbage, cut into small pieces and blanched
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 4 dried tomatoes
- 100 ml vegetable stock
- 300 ml single cream
- 3 eggs
- Pepper
- Salt
- Nutmeg
- Ground almonds
Sesame Teriyaki carrots :
- 3 orange carrots
- 3 white carrots
- Olive oil
- Teriyaki sauce
- Sesame
Recipe
Cabbage tart:
- Fry the onions in oil without browning. Whisk together the vegetable stock, cream and eggs, and add salt and pepper. Season with a little nutmeg.
- Roll out the pastry to a diameter of 30 cm. Fill with onion, sun-dried tomatoes and cabbage, drizzle with the mixture and sprinkle with ground almonds.
- Bake for 40 minutes at 175°C in a preheated oven.
Teriyaki carrots :
- Wash, peel and julienne the carrots
- Cook the carrots in olive oil in a frying pan
- Add 2 tablespoons of Teriyaki sauce
- Leave to simmer and serve in a dish, sprinkled with sesame seeds
