Aunt Véro’s Croc’annelles

Ingredients

  • 250g of flour
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 100g salted butter cut into pieces
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of yeast
  • 2 or 3 tablespoons of cinnamon

Recipe

  1. Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix until you get a ball.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180° and line a baking sheet with baking paper.
  3. Put a little brown sugar in a plate. Take some dough and make a ball of about 3cm in diameter between your hands. Roll it in the sugar and place it on the plate. Repeat.
  4. When all the balls are on the plate, flatten them delicately with the tines of a half fork so as to obtain a round and streaked cookie.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes (or less if desired color is reached).
  6. Cool on a wire rack and enjoy.
