Teriyaki cabbage and carrot tart

A delicious winter recipe from Tante Nana…



  • 1 shortcrust pastry
  • 1 savoy cabbage, cut into small pieces and blanched
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 4 dried tomatoes
  • 100 ml vegetable stock
  • 300 ml single cream
  • 3 eggs
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • Nutmeg
  • Ground almonds

Sesame Teriyaki carrots :

  • 3 orange carrots
  • 3 white carrots
  • Olive oil
  • Teriyaki sauce
  • Sesame


Cabbage tart:

  1. Fry the onions in oil without browning. Whisk together the vegetable stock, cream and eggs, and add salt and pepper. Season with a little nutmeg.
  2. Roll out the pastry to a diameter of 30 cm. Fill with onion, sun-dried tomatoes and cabbage, drizzle with the mixture and sprinkle with ground almonds.
  3. Bake for 40 minutes at 175°C in a preheated oven.

Teriyaki carrots :

  1. Wash, peel and julienne the carrots
  2. Cook the carrots in olive oil in a frying pan
  3. Add 2 tablespoons of Teriyaki sauce
  4. Leave to simmer and serve in a dish, sprinkled with sesame seeds
