A gourmet restaurant with romantic charm in the heart of Pont-Aven. Chef Sébastien Martinez makes it a point of honour to pay tribute to this unique place through each of his culinary creations. Since 2018, this iconic restaurant has been reinventing its history while preserving its flamboyant past. The rooms have been redesigned to offer a warm, intimate atmosphere, while the terrace, bordered by the river Aven, invites you to enjoy a bucolic experience. The cuisine, imbued with the flavours of Brittany and enhanced by refined combinations, is a delight for food lovers.
The Moulin de Rosmadec, which dates back to the 15th century and belonged to the Marquis de Rosmadec, has contributed to Pont-Aven’s reputation as a famous city of painters. Transformed over time into an artist’s studio, a crêperie and then a family and gourmet restaurant, it was awarded its first Michelin star in 1933, becoming the first establishment in Finistère to receive this distinction. The Moulin de Rosmadec, which has changed with the times, regained its star in January 2021.
In Pont-Aven, the pictorial jewel of Southern Brittany, renowned for its art school initiated by Paul Gauguin, Le Moulin de Rosmadec embodies the meeting of art and delicacies for which the town is famous.
