At Kerbeleg, cinema, karaoke and, more exceptionally, games are now available in full width over 2m50. So I needed a few expert cabinet-makers’ hands and strong arms to help me make this formwork in line with the new beams in the living room so that the screen would be a little more discreet. So, with Emmanuel’s invaluable help, we made this made-to-measure surround in solid oak, which is now shaped and stained with walnut stain. Hugo and I then put the finishing touches to the structure, which we fitted as tightly as possible to the relatively straight wall, with the red lime rendering following the original contours of the house’s stonework:
