The “bees & cicadas” bread

We’re delighted to offer you our exclusive recipe for bread, served crisp every morning. We’ve called it “Bees & Cicadas”, a tribute to the generous nature of our regions.

Kerbeleg le pain abeille et cigale

Our bread recipe is the result of a subtle blend, combining honey from a beekeeper in Riec-sur-Bélon with carefully selected herbs from Provence. This unique blend of flavours and aromas gives our bread an incomparable taste personality, evoking the sweet scents of the fields of Provence and the hard work of the bees foraging in the meadows of Riec-sur-Bélon.

Every week, we prepare this artisan bread with passion and skill, lovingly measured out to give you an unforgettable taste experience. When you sit down at our table, you’ll be greeted by the enchanting aroma of freshly toasted bread wafting through our kitchen.

We invite you to savour this crusty bread, lightly toasted on toast, with a dab of salted butter. The delicate sweetness of the honey blends harmoniously with the Breton butter, creating a symphony of flavours that will tantalise your taste buds from the very first bite. It’s a real treat for the senses, a delicious combination of sweet and salty that will win you over from the very first morning.

At Kerbeleg, we make it a point of honour to use local, quality products. The honey we use comes straight from the hives of our neighbouring beekeeper in Riec-sur-Bélon, guaranteeing exceptional freshness and authenticity. The Provençal herbs, meanwhile, are carefully chosen to add a Provençal touch to our bread, reminding us of the gentle, sunny landscapes of the south of France.

We’re proud to offer you this exclusive ‘Abeilles & Cigales’ bread, which embodies our love of nature and passion for good things. Each bite transports you to the heart of the land, offering you a special moment of culinary pleasure.

Whether you’re visiting or staying with us, we hope that this morning tasting will be a memorable experience.
