In flow’ry garden and nourishing plot alike, Where beauty blooms and bounty grows, I strike. A verse in Shakespearean style I shall craft, To praise the garden’s splendor, both wild and tamed. In garden fair, where blossoms sweetly sway, Where roses blush and daisies deck the way, With hues that rival fair Aurora’s dawn, A paradise of nature’s grace is drawn. The lilies, pure and regal in their stance, With petals white as moonbeams’ soft expanse, And violets, their fragrance on the breeze, Enchant the soul and put the heart at ease. Yet, in the plot where sustenance is sought, The earth gives birth to treasures dearly bought. With lettuce green and carrots bright and bold, A feast of nourishment for young and old. The sturdy beans climb skyward, reaching high, While plump tomatoes blush beneath the sky, And corn, its golden tassels proudly sway, A testament to nature’s rich display.
